By accident, I had stumbled upon a freelance 3-D career at the beginning of 2000. I wanted to make a video for a new Deadly Systems song, and since I couldn't afford to pay anyone to make a video - I decided to learn how to do it myself. I took a class in Lightwave 3-D 5.6 from Bob Andersen, and the next thing you know, I was animatin'!

"NOIZY"

This job was for Majestic Records. They were planning a sequel to "This is Noize" Happy Hardcore Music Compilation. They had me re-do the character, and wanted him fully posable. The left picture is what I had to work with, and the right pictures are my rebuilding of the character. The QuickTime file is just a short test clip to see if he moved adequately. It's a really rough, so don't expect Walt Disney, okay? I just needed to know if his mouth and limbs were working.

Daisy 'n' Dewby

Here is my very first little animation! I started this in Bob's class, and later on added the music into it. I ended up using Lightwave 5.6, Adobe Premiere 5, and Propellorheads Rebirth for the music.

Spinning Pepsi Ball: Yep, I guess if you spend anytime doing freelance animation, eventually you are going to asked to do a spinning Pepsi Ball. This one was done for Earthquake Edit. I'm not sure what they eventually used it in. They told me it was for an internal corporate video, but it could have been used in just about anything after that i.e. commercials, bouncing to the music, etc. Done in Lightwave 5.6 (2000)
