More Audio Art

Besides doing the artwork for Deadly Systems, I occasionally do artwork for other labels, such as Industrial Strength, Praxis. and GHB/Majestic (see the “Noizy” character in the 3-D section).

Deadly Buda “Magic 1” CD: This is the demo cover for the upcoming mix CD. This was done in Lightwave 6.5, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The 3-D lettering is fully animateable as well. (2001)

“Original” Deadly Buda “Magic 1” CD cover: This is the “demo of the demo” cover for the upcoming mix CD. Kim Henderson took the photo of my turntable. This will probably be used for the inside cover. This was done in Lightwave 6.5, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. (2001).

DJ Invictus-”Sound Strafing” CD cover: Done in Lightwave 6, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (2000)

Deadly Buda “Tracers Vol.1” mix CD demo cover: The “Tantra Comics” piece again! What an all-purpose Illustration, eh? This is a sexy, deep mix, so it fit. So, I did the illustration with pen and pencil, and then colored it with Adobe Streamline and Illustrator, then layed out the cover in Photoshop (2000).

Deadly Buda “Morph Beat One” Praxis Records vinyl label: I did not lay this out. Praxis actually used one of my drawings and slightly modified it, I imagine in Photoshop. You can see the actual drawing by clicking here (1994).

Bastard Loud 12” vinyl cover: This was a sub-label of Industrial Strength. It was kind of a rush job, but the original pen and marker design was pretty cool. You can see it by clicking here. They used this cover for every release on the BL label, as far as I know (1993).

“Lenny Dee presents...Trax from the Darkside” CD cover and inside cover:

Done with pen and Design Markers. This was interesting not only because it was a widely released Rave CD with a hand drawn cover, but also because if you put the inside cover up to a mirror, you got the full “satanic raver” image, spooky, eh?” I put the mirrored image here so you could see the full effect (1993)
